Many people told me that I have good skin, but they don’t know this bugger here get zits too xD And it’s definitely an annoying thing nobody likes.
I’ve been seeing my sis use this Acne patch from Nexcare and it got me interested to try as well. Whenever I had a zit I’ll take one sticker from her pack to try it out. So over the past few months I’ve been using the patches on & off. And seeing how I’ve been using it more, I bought my own pack so I won’t be the asshole sibling who keeps taking her sis’s patches hahahahah
One of the most distinctive effect I noticed was how quickly my zit healed every time. Not to mention how satisfying it was to see the white gunk that’s been absorbed out of my pore. Some people find it gross but I’m the other kind who also find satisfaction watching pimple pop videos. Yum.
There are different types & brands of these acne patches but I find them to be the pretty much the same. They have some which are thinner for day use, so that it looks more invisible; some with bigger patches, etc. Some brands have medicated ones, which sounds pretty good. But I’ve never tried them.
I am only using NexCare, partly because I’m familiar with 3M products. I’m also not choosy about what type I got because I use it at home. They range from $5-$7, a little pricey but it’s worth it to me. The box (no pic cause I forgot) usually comes with a sterile sealed pack containing the acne patches and a plastic tweezer for u to pick out the product. I find using my fingers a lot easier to remove the patches though.
I did a little research to see how these works, turns out these acne patches are made from a hydrocolliod material. Meaning they are water-attracting material attached to a thin plastic film. Which is surprisingly cause I always thought it’s oil absorbing.

Quite interesting stuffs I learn today. I really wouldn’t mind being reliant on these for my zits, they are really convenient haha
