Before school started, I've made a decision to try to put on make up everyday to school, with the agenda to make myself more presentable and also hopefully people will take me more seriously, because I have made the effort to groom myself. 2 weeks after putting make up everyday, my face starts to react to the cosmetics and it didn't feel good.
So by the third week, I decided not to wear make up for a week. My skin felt like it could breathe better. Maybe it's my imagination. I know there are a few factors why my skin reacts negatively to the products, and I probably know which one applies to myself.
1. I might had not been removing the products correctly from my face, thus irritating my skin, especially my eyelids and lash line, causing mini pus like pimples forming at my lash line. I know it sounds disgusting, but it's not really that bad. It doesn't cause much discomfort, and usually after removing the pus, the area heals back naturally and it'll be okay.
2. I am sensitive to the make up remover wipes. Though I don't think it should be the case as the product is meant for sensitive skin. Unless I misread the information..
3. I used products that are inappropriate for my skin, such as, cosmetics that has been "overdue" and should be thrown away. I should have known better since I have sensitive skin. ): Meaning.. I have to throw away a lot of cosmetics.. Including this nice shade of NYX blusher I got 1 year ago maybe. Kinda sucks to have sensitive skin in this case because you can't really get away with using slight overdue products because it WILL have an effect on your skin.
Thinking back, I think I knew what the problem was regarding my lash line pimple outbreak. It's the mascara that my aunt got! Not that the brand is bad, but I've kept it for quite a long time.. Probably been a year? IT SHOULD BE WHY, AND I SHOULD KNOW BETTER >_< I should have been more strict with my decisions of using make up. So I guess I learned this for myself the hard way. I am not allowed to use make up product that are stated over its due, because my skin will not handle it.
Good thing is, ever since I stopped using the mascara, everything have turned out good and I do not have anymore of those nasty outbreaks. I'm not really concerned about those outbreaks, but more of the fact that these little pockets of pus might not be removed entirely and it develops into another nasty cyst under my lids. I have enough cyst removal surgeries from my eye area to have more of it. I've been trying to keep my eyes as clean as possible so I do not get more of those nasty little bumps. I think I've been doing a rather good job nowadays, it kinda became one of my priorities.
Oh and I think I have a cavity.. ): Time to cut down on sugars and brushing more.. Hope this way I can slow down the decay before I meet Dr Tang soon. It's really a hassle to have to keep track of so many things on your body so that they do not go hay wire due to your lift style. I can do better of course, with better time management, initiatives and slight tweaks of lifestyles. Problem is I have a hard time keep them up. I guess you can say I'm a lazy person.
